Our Story

A handful of families.
Three decades of joy.

Anandam Association was formed in 1995 by a small group of Bengali families who wanted to keep their cultural roots alive in their adopted city. From a modest neighbourhood gathering, we have grown into one of Pune's leading Bengali associations.

Anandam means joy. Joy is what we set out to create — by celebrating together, learning together, and looking out for one another.

Today our calendar spans the year — from Saraswati Puja in spring to Durga Puja in autumn — and our reach extends into community service, youth competitions and cultural exchange.
